116/365 - Crocheting
I ran into a little of a roadblock with my hexagon afghan, and rather than tackle that problem, I've been satisfying my itch to crochet with smaller pieces.
I'd already crocheted this yarn into simple granny squares (back when I was first learning how crochet works), but they weren't very good. They weren't uniform in size, due to my inexperience with tension, but that could've been remedied with an extra row of single crochet here and there. However, even worse than the lack of uniformity was the fact that they were boring. (Granny squares really need to be more than one color to work, I think.)
So now they've been unraveled and wound into little balls-- and gradually I'm turning them into something more useful than a stack of ugly granny squares.
