This sago palm frond is dry and mostly dead. It's never really recovered from the cold weather we had over the winter. However, it has put out new growth. I guess that I ought to trim back the damaged fronds. I was hoping they might mend themselves, but it doesn't seem likely, at this point. Trimming it's not a problem. It'll just give it a slightly different appearance-- a little more like a short palm tree. I'm not sure I like that look as much, but at least it'll make it easier to mulch around it.
