I was inspired by an e-mail from Photojojo to experiment with some sparkler photography (which I still haven't done... and may not try until cooler weather knocks out the mosquitoes... in a few months). We decided to go to the nearby fireworks superstore. (Seriously, the place is HUGE. I need to photograph it sometime, but I rarely bring the camera with me when I'm headed that direction...) Sure, this was probably their busiest day of the year. (Most of the time, the parking lot is empty except for the cars of one or two lonely employees.) However, we were in the mood for adventure. ;o) We bought the bundle of "6 pieces" sparklers and one other tiny pack (not even visible in the photo, I think). Everything else? Freebies! I guess they're trying to get us hooked.
