330/365 - Suspended
There's a whole community of Florida orchard spiders living in our large sago palm. This one must be the head honcho. At least, it got the prime real estate-- the top/middle opening of the plant.

322/265 - Daddy Long Legs
...Or at least that's what we've always called them. I've read that they are sometimes called "harvestmen". Both names are pretty creepy and evocative of Things That Go Bump in the Night.

314/365 - Eek!
This approximately 2-inch-long spider was lurking on one our back porch's columns. I almost didn't see it, as it blended in so well with the mortar.
Ugh. I really don't like large, fuzzy spiders. (Ok, I don't really like spiders of any kind, to tell the truth, but the large ones are particularly creepy.)
309/365 - Another Banana Spider
This one's living right outside one of our windows. It doesn't seem to appreciate it much when I pull up the blinds in that room...

289/365 - Banana Spider (Again)
This is the spider from a few days ago-- only this time, we're looking at it from the other side of the web.
The spider has since disappeared. I guess it wasn't an ideal location for a web-- too breezy.

287/365 - Banana Spider
This was the first banana spider I've seen in a while, but there will soon be many more of them, I'm sure. They're such creepy things-- mainly due to their size.

279/365 - Pink Rose, Green Lynx
You can count on the green lynx to be posing nicely on a flower. Very considerate spider, the green lynx. ;o)
