333/365 - Hummingbird Perch
There's a handy (dead) crepe myrtle near one of our feeders. The hummingbirds like to sit in this small tree (which I'll be taking down/replacing when the weather cools down, because... it's dead) as they guard the feeder.

132/365 - Styled by Phoenix
A mark on the underside of a small table caught my eye as I went to unplug the vacuum cleaner. It was this image (though not so rusty before I played around with it on the computer).
The table came to me through Mom and to her through my grandparents. I thought I'd heard that my great-grandfather (on my grandmother's side) had made it, but apparently not. It turns out that this piece was made in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Interesting!

121/365 - Sparrows
(Though we didn't get our almost-promised snow. . .) . . . It was a harsh day-- just above freezing, with rain, occasional sleet, and a raw breeze.
Our bird feeder was fully booked, with a line up top and a crowd searching the ground below for scattered seeds.
