306/365 - Cléa

306/365 - Cléa

This is a brand of crochet thread I haven't tried yet-- but I've read good things about it, and now I have some just waiting for its turn. :o)

293/365 - Perfectly Centered

293/365 - Perfectly Centered

I think this might have been the only time I've ever gotten a perfect score on the "center of balance" test. It's actually kind of annoying that the Wii Fit places so much emphasis on balance. Yes, yes, balance is important, but it's not everything. (Spoken like a person with imperfect balance!)

Donald suggested that I use this as proof that I'm a well-balanced individual. ;o)

255/365 - "Faster and Flameless"

255/365 - "Faster and Flameless"

Aunt Cathy gave me a bag of magazines (some with crochet patterns) from an elderly woman who was cleaning out her home.  Among them was a magazine published in August 1961-- "The Progressive Farmer".  This is a photo of one of the advertisements.  This kitchen isn't exactly my style, but it's still fun to look at.  Imagine an aqua and lavender kitchen!  There's another on another page (and in another photo over on my Flickr photostream) that's all pale pink.

221/365 - Games for Two

221/365 - Games for Two

These are the three games we've been playing the most, lately. They're ideal for two players, which is mostly how many players we have. (g) So that works out nicely. . .

173/365 - "You'll Swear. . ."

173/365 - "You'll Swear. . ."

I missed another day, so this is a fake.  Actually, considering how long I went without uploading a photo for Project 365, I'm surprised I haven't forgotten multiple times.

This is one I took the next day.  It's a box I saw at the construction site.  I thought the slogan was kind of funny. . .

158/365 - Fruity Pasta

158/365 - Fruity Pasta

Enjoying three treats at once: a warm, cozy bed, an engaging book (Miss Mapp by E.F. Benson), and some of the yummiest candy ever (Haribo's Fruity Pasta).

143/365 - Louisville Ladder

143/365 - Louisville Ladder

Um. I probably wouldn't have chosen this for photo of the day if I had taken any more interesting photos that day.

Er, I mean, isn't this a great and really interesting abstract-ish photo of a ladder? ;o)

132/365 - Styled by Phoenix

132/365 - Styled by Phoenix

A mark on the underside of a small table caught my eye as I went to unplug the vacuum cleaner. It was this image (though not so rusty before I played around with it on the computer).

The table came to me through Mom and to her through my grandparents. I thought I'd heard that my great-grandfather (on my grandmother's side) had made it, but apparently not. It turns out that this piece was made in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Interesting!

120/365 - got snow?

120/365 - got snow?

Despite some local meteorologists all but promising snow for us, we got nothing. Donald and I saw a few isolated flurries, but nothing more than that. Meanwhile, not far to our north, they were wallowing in the stuff. (Snow hogs.)

I'm still recovering from the disappointment. ;o)
