100/365 - Trixie Sticks Out Her Tongue

100/365 - Trixie Sticks Out Her Tongue

Silly little girl!

Well, I've made it to the century mark in this photo-a-day project. Still not even a third of the way done, though. Maybe I need to hunt down my list of ideas for photos. . .

96/365 - Can Hardly Wait

Can Hardly Wait

I bought a bag of Dinner Rounds at a Wal-Mart I rarely visit. Technically, they're meant to be dog food, but they're the perfect size to use as special treats (and they're really too soft and luxurious to seem proper for regular meals).

Most local stores have stopped stocking them.  In fact, I think this was the first I'd bought since we got Trixie.  She ate her first Round cautiously, as she does with most new food.  Molly, on the other hand, just wondered why she hadn't gotten any of them for so long.  ;o)

94/365 - Scary Trivial Pursuit Game Box Lady

94/365 - Scary Trivial Pursuit Game Box Lady

Donald and I played Trivial Pursuit on Saturday.  After we packed everything back into the box, I noticed something odd about it. This was the 25th anniversary edition of the game, and the box designers went a little crazy. It's bright! It's metallic/foiled! It's holographic! It's also embossed, including the face of the woman on the lid. When you tilt the box in certain directions, the way the light hits her embossed face makes for a creepy effect.

(Cue the sinister music.)
"Come!  Play a game of Trivial Pursuit-- if you dare!  Mwa-ha-ha-ha-ha!!"

Ok.  What can I say?  Maybe I was lightheaded from lack of caffeine.  ;o)

73/365 - EXTRA! EXTRA!

73/365 - EXTRA! EXTRA!

Molly was in the newspaper today! ;o)

She seems to really like her Christmas gift-- a new dog bed. Maybe someday Trixie will be trustworthy enough to get one, too. Right now, it seems too risky. She just likes chewing on blankets and things a little too much...

(If you'd rather see a "real", less doctored photo, there's a black-and-white version on my Flickr photostream.)
