341/365 - Sunset Trixie
Self-explanatory title, but I'm "supposed" to write a caption for my Project 365 photos, so... Isn't my Eskie pretty? ;o)

337/365 - Late Summer Trixie
Trixie seems to enjoy her afternoon/evening outside, no matter what time of year it is.
In the middle photo, she was racing off to chase a hummingbird. Though she eventually tires of it, chasing and barking at hummingbirds is one of her favorite "duties".

320/365 - Another Silly Trixie Expression
She looks kind of funny when she looks up like this...
(My Project 365 photos have been very Trixie-centric, lately. Maybe I'll find a new subject for the next couple of photos.)
317/365 - Munch Munch Munch
Our lazy Eskie prefers to dine while lying down. She pulls her food bowl over from the corner of her crate, plops down in front of it, and chows down. She must be conserving energy for her evening frisbee and fetching sessions.

283/365 - Trixie & the Red Ball
"Okay... I did 'down'... I'm waiting... You can go ahead and throw it now... Any day now would be fine."

265/365 - *Munch Munch Munch*
Sometimes Trixie likes to take a mouthful of food from her bowl (which is kept in her crate), spit it out on the floor, and eat it at her leisure. Why it tastes better this way, I cannot say, but it must.

222/365 - *Wink*
When she's in her crate, Trixie sometimes squooshes herself against it to make it easier for someone to pet her through the bars. This time, she also closed one eye and "winked" at me. (Funny girl!)
(Hm. The fact that this was the best photo I took that day speaks volumes about how lazy I've gotten with Project 365. As if my extreme tardiness in posting the photos didn't say enough.)

214/365 - You Dirty Dog
Every now and then, she likes to dig in the dirt-- and dampness is no deterrent.
Good thing she's (mostly) self-cleaning!

197/365 - Yo, Dawg!
Trixie was a little alarmed when Donald first suggested that she try on his cap. . .
. . . She wasn't sure the plaid went with her collar. . .
. . . But by the third photo in this group, she'd come to her senses and realized she'd look cool in practically anything.
191/365 - Trixie Tail & Toes
This doesn't look like a very comfortable position to lie in, but must not be too bad, because you can frequently find her in it. . .
(In this photo, she's lying on the back porch.)

109/365 - Trixie
At this point, where's the harm with one more photo of the Eskie? ;o)
Trixie was lying in her crate when I took this one.

100/365 - Trixie Sticks Out Her Tongue
Silly little girl!
Well, I've made it to the century mark in this photo-a-day project. Still not even a third of the way done, though. Maybe I need to hunt down my list of ideas for photos. . .

76/365 - "Please Let Me In."
She looks so sweet and beseeching, here. Her expression seems to quietly ask, "Please?" Actually, it's the paw on the door that asks, I think. Reaching out. Making contact. Imploring.
What the photo doesn't show is how she was jumping impatiently against the door and barking very demanding, urgent barks just moments before and after this shapshot.
Ah, photography, with the power to make a loud, somewhat naughty dog look like an innocent little angel! ;o)

48/365 - Trixie (taken w/ new camera)
...Playing around with our new (point-and-shoot) camera (which just arrived today)!
It'll be fun to see how it performs in better lighting-- keeping in mind that it won't be able to compare to our "old" camera in terms of quality and versatility-- but so far, we're happy with the results we're getting. For low-light situations, it does seem to do a good job.
The new camera's so small and lightweight, there will rarely be a time that we simply can't bring a camera along-- a nice change from the chunky DSLR. I should also be good for taking portraits on the sly (or at least without attracting quite so much attention). ;o)

4/365 - Happy Dog
Ok, she was actually just barking-- but she looks so happy! And when is a dog happier than when she has a reason-- any reason-- to bark? ;o)
Today, Trixie's enjoying being out in the cool weather by romping around the yard (and, here, the patio). I guess that built-in fur coat is doing its job, since she kept returning to a patch of shaded grass to lie in, rather than selecting a sunny spot to bask in.

3/365 - Skipper
Here's my maternal grandparents' Eskie, Skipper, in one of his favorite spots-- under the bench on the back porch. (The family gathered for lunch and a social afternoon in celebration of Aunt Cathy's birthday.)
In many ways, this isn't a great photograph. It's not quite sharp enough, and is overexposed on the quilt/underexposed on Skipper, but it's still my favorite from today. I think I'm going to go on that basis alone-- whichever photo I like best is the "photo of the day".
