326/365 - Dominion
We've been playing Dominion quite a bit lately. It's pretty fun, and the way it's designed, you can have a different game every time. Fortunately for us, it also works very well for two players.

293/365 - Perfectly Centered
I think this might have been the only time I've ever gotten a perfect score on the "center of balance" test. It's actually kind of annoying that the Wii Fit places so much emphasis on balance. Yes, yes, balance is important, but it's not everything. (Spoken like a person with imperfect balance!)
Donald suggested that I use this as proof that I'm a well-balanced individual. ;o)

221/365 - Games for Two
These are the three games we've been playing the most, lately. They're ideal for two players, which is mostly how many players we have. (g) So that works out nicely. . .

130/365 - Dominion
. . .Reading the rules for a new game-- Dominion. We've only played it once, so far, but it's promising. It definitely seems like one of those games that can be different every time you play it.
(The game was a birthday gift from Donald. :o))

102/365 - Deliberation
(It looks more complicated than it is.)
Donald and I played Carcassonne, Sunday afternoon. We've yet to have an opportunity to play this game with more than just the two of us. Having more than two players is sure to require different strategies. One of these days...

94/365 - Scary Trivial Pursuit Game Box Lady
Donald and I played Trivial Pursuit on Saturday. After we packed everything back into the box, I noticed something odd about it. This was the 25th anniversary edition of the game, and the box designers went a little crazy. It's bright! It's metallic/foiled! It's holographic! It's also embossed, including the face of the woman on the lid. When you tilt the box in certain directions, the way the light hits her embossed face makes for a creepy effect.
(Cue the sinister music.)
"Come! Play a game of Trivial Pursuit-- if you dare! Mwa-ha-ha-ha-ha!!"
Ok. What can I say? Maybe I was lightheaded from lack of caffeine. ;o)

44/365 - Carcassonne
Here we are tallying up the final points of our second game of Carcassonne. My family gave Donald this game (and an expansion pack-- Inns & Cathedrals) for his birthday (which was yesterday). We played it once yesterday evening and again this afternoon. It's fun-- and easier to pick up than Settlers. However, though it seems simple on the surface, there's still plenty of room for strategy.
