201/365 - Pump House
(Apparently I took very few photos on day 201 of Project 365, and those I took were kind of blurry.)
This is our new pump house (still under construction, obviously) as seen from the fenced yard (near the patio). Donald's made a lot of progress on it since this was taken, and on this past Saturday (May 15th), we shingled the roof. Once the painting and trimming is done, I'll take more photos.

141/365 - First Try at HDR. . .
So far, I'm not blown away, nor will I be blowing away others with HDR (high dynamic range) photos of this caliber. No "mad HDR skillz" here. Or in other words, there's still a lot of room for improvement.
Oh well, I shouldn't expect to be do a wonderful job on my very first try, I guess. At least I'm trying something new. :o)

133/365 - First Flowers of the Year
These are (I think) the first flowers to pop up in our yard, this year.
Daffodils-- a welcome sign of the approach of spring. (Also, a less welcome sign that I'd better get outside and do some yard work before the full heat of summer is upon us. . .)

131/365 - Cold-Damaged Sago Palm
Normally, these stay nice and green all year long.
I hope ours comes back as strong as it was before. . .

119/365 - Contrail Loop
I always wonder what happened, when I see contrail loops like this. Was someone just out for a joy ride, or did they have to turn around for a more specific reason?

98/365 - Rainy Day
I didn't have much to choose from for this photo-of-the-day. It was either this or a blurry shot of an inch or two of water over the gravel portion of our patio.
It was rainy most of the afternoon and evening. I snapped this after a particularly heavy shower. On days like this, I'm thankful that we don't live in a spot that's prone to flooding.
