352/365 - Crochet in Progress

This was the beginnings of a cotton pot-holder. (I love the red against that aqua!)

350/365 - Green and Gold

It's nice to know that when all else fails, you can always throw everything out of focus and look at the pretty dots of light. ;o)

348/365 - Stack of Octagons

This is a stack of octagon motifs for the afghan I'm making.

342/365 - Virginia Creeper

I tend to take at least one photo like this every year... It's a tradition. (g) This one's a bit blurry, but it'll do for my incomplete attempt at Project 365.

These are the colors of yarn I'm using on my current afghan project. (The one on the bottom right looks darker here than it actually is, though it is a dark blue.)

277/365 - Yarn Ends

I started what will probably be a long process of weaving in ends on the hexagon afghan. These are the little snippets of yarn I'd trimmed. Too bad there's no really good use for these little bits of brightness...

I was touching up the paint on a few chairs. There are a few major paint jobs still waiting to be done, too (mainly cabinets). Maybe it's best to wait until it's cool enough to have the windows open...

213/365 - Sail Away Sky

I'll admit it. The sky wasn't actually this color. I. . . "persuaded" it a little in the post-processing.

Well, someone had to do something to it. It was pretty boring as it was.

(It's a poor-- or at least lazy-- photographer who blames her photos for being boring.)

This rose is from the same bush as the one a few (Project 365) photos back-- the "stubborn" rose.

172/365 - Watching Grass Grow

Well, not exactly, but everything seems to grow so fast that it almost feels like you could see it growing.

There is a whole line of these boxes (ammo boxes?) at the construction site.  I'm not sure what they keep in them.  Tools?  Nails? 

I like the weathered colors with just a hint of rust here and there. 

157/365 - Silhouetted Branches

This is just an oak tree against a cloudy sky. 

Full disclosure--  The pinkish tint in the sky is 100% Photoshop fakery.  The sky was actually just white/grey, but I thought that was a bit dull (not to mention cold to look at), so I tickled it pink. 

136/365 - The Procrastination Afghan

I've started working on a crochet afghan. No, not the one I've mentioned here before. (That would make too much sense.) Instead, it's a different one, and because I'm making it at least partly so that I can put off working out a problem or two with the other, it is my Procrastination Afghan.

133/365 - First Flowers of the Year

These are (I think) the first flowers to pop up in our yard, this year.

Daffodils-- a welcome sign of the approach of spring. (Also, a less welcome sign that I'd better get outside and do some yard work before the full heat of summer is upon us. . .)
