335/365 - Sky on a Slant
...Another example of what happens when you're not feeling particularly inspired and nothing comes to mind for that "take a photo every day" project...

331/365 - Blue Sky, Bright Sun
Makes my eyes water just to remember taking this one... (And not in an emotional way. It was just really bright. (g))

323/365 - Sun Behind Clouds
...And a hint of some crepuscular rays. (I owe my knowledge of that rather ugly-sounding term to one of our local TV meteorologists, Mr. John Nodar. (g))

312/365 - After the Storm
After a fairly rough storm came through, the early evening was pleasantly cool and the damp grass refreshing underfoot. Tattered clouds (stragglers) felt close enough that you could climb a tree and reach out to grab them.

298/365 - Stormy Again
Actually, it may not have been that stormy, but it looks like it was, from this photo...
We've certainly been having our share of rain, lately.
(You may have noticed that I skipped photo/day 297. Either I forgot to take a photo that day or the computer ate it. ...Or I accidentally deleted it... At this point in the project, I'm not going to

273/365 - Glowy Sky
Every now and then we get these evenings (as I suppose many places do) when the sky seems to glow-- natural sepia-tone!

228/365 - Twilight Sky
Looking north-northwestward from near our electric pole. . .
This landscape will be changing. My parents have planted a number of pine trees in that open field, so in just a matter of a few years, it will probably look very different.

218/365 - New Neighbors
My parents' new house is still not quite finished, but it's further along than it was when I took this photo (May 20th), and it's only a matter of days/weeks, now! Every now and then, we walk over to have a look at the progress, though we go less often now that all the big stuff is done (and the heat, humidity, and weeds of summer make it less pleasant to walk).
(This is the back of the house, by the way.)

216/365 - Foreboding
I was in the mood for a little murky, eerie imagery today-- and the weather complied-- so the rest of you will just have to suffer through it. ;o)

213/365 - Sail Away Sky
I'll admit it. The sky wasn't actually this color. I. . . "persuaded" it a little in the post-processing.
Well, someone had to do something to it. It was pretty boring as it was.
(It's a poor-- or at least lazy-- photographer who blames her photos for being boring.)

195/365 - Cotton Candy Sky
This kind of twilight sky-- with wispy, pink clouds against a delicate blue-- makes me think of cotton candy.

174/365 - Sunset
Not much to say. . . It's a sunset, as seen from here.
Maybe I've mentioned this already, but at one point I thought it would be a brilliant idea to choose one scenic spot and take a photo of every sunset for a year. I still think it might be interesting, but maybe only to the photographer or someone for whom the location had special meaning.

144/365 - Diagonal Sunset Cloud
Another "ooh, that's interesting" (to me, at least) moment brought to you by an unusual cloud in the sky at sunset.
(Another photo that might not have been selected, had I taken anything better that day...)
